| As far as I can remember, I’ve always been drawing. The numerous little drawings on my notebooks drove my mother and my teachers to despair. My love for nature also goes back to my childhood. And I experienced several techniques to combine both passions before I found out that the spontaneity, the transparency and the brightness of watercolours best translate the emotions created by the play of lights, atmospheres and other privileged moments of perfect union with nature. As I havent’t had the opportunity of studying art, I consider myself as self-taught. except some trainings in workshops especially with the Chinese painter in watercolours Cao Bei An.
